    You will work with a wide range of technologies , from the most experienced to the most disruptive: 46 different programming languages, 201 development platforms, etc.

    You will collaborate with our main tech partners - Microsoft, Google, AWS, Salesforce, IBM, RedHat, Telefonica, Cisco, Genesys, etc.
    You will carry out innovative projects in areas such as Development, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure and Data. More information .

    You will learn by working in your project, you will work with referents and you will have access to the entire BBVA training offer and to the Ninja project , a gamified training platform with a community of more than 11,000 participants with more than 2,000 talks, 1,300 workshops and 48 hackathons held.

    Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
    Strategic thinking, conceptualization, and storytelling skills.
    Ability to simplify and explain complex ideas.
    Creative, outside-the-box thinking.
    Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
    Excellent English proficiency (minimum C1 level).Teamwork and collaborative skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Advanced Excel and Google Data Studio proficiency.
    Analytical skills to understand and validate KPIs.
    Autonomous in managing routine tasks.
    Experience in generating high-quality, visually competent presentations.
    Creative and visual content generation skills.
    Ability to generate ideas from scratch and relate strategic concepts.
    Experience in facilitating sessions and events.
    Capability to manage parallel tasks and shifting priorities.
    Responsibility and commitment management skills.

    BBVA is undergoing a major transformation to become a truly data-driven company, where data and analytics power all aspects of banking.

    Over the past three years, Data has increased its project delivery eightfold, and today, we have a portfolio of approximately 750 projects with significant strategic and business impact.

    This growth is just the beginning, as new technologies such as cloud computing and AI capabilities, including Generative AI, will be crucial in executing these projects and shaping the future of banking.

    Generative AI, in particular, is playing an increasingly important role in our strategy, focused on enhancing customer interaction, driving innovative solutions in process automation, and enabling our employees in their day-to-day duties.

    Currently, more than 4,000 employees are engaged in this transformation, including teams in Data Holding, Data Engineering, and in the different countries and areas within the BBVA Group.

    Data Strategy Discipline is responsible for: contributing to the definition of the Strategic plan of the area, leading high level strategic discussions, coordinating the Global Data portfolio that defines the annual plan and for the definition and the execution of the Communication Strategy of the area.

    The discipline is searching for a manager/associate to work and participate in these different workstreams.

    About the job
    Main Functions
    Develop and participate in the creation of Strategic reflections.
    Support various workstreams (e.g., portfolio definition and monitoring, strategic KPIs...) involving multiple stakeholders.

    Collaborate on launching key Strategic projects within the Area (e.g., Generative AI projects).Help coordinate internal communication events, aligning them with the strategic approach.

    Participate in internal and external communication processes.
    Prepare materials for the Executive Committees.
