The Regional Leader, Scientific Information Strategy holds a Director-level position responsible for finding and implementing creative access to real-world scientific data (RWD) within their area, covering a wide range of patient clinical domains. This involves finding the best ways to collaborate with healthcare systems, data providers, national/regional patient registries, disease-specific registries, and other innovative sources of real-world scientific data. This position demands leadership skills, accountability, relationship management abilities, and business expertise. Individuals must ensure that the use of RWD within the region for a specific solution is suitable and complies with data usage agreements and applicable laws.
The Leader, Europe RWD Strategy oversees the European team with great visibility and sales capabilities, serving numerous clients across Europe with needs for supporting Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies utilizing registries, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and other sources of real-world data. This role provides valuable insights into innovative approaches like AI applications in RWE, Post-Authorization Safety Studies (PASS), and the use of RWD in therapy areas. Additionally, it offers specific knowledge on EMA regulatory guidance to outline a successful path for generating evidence from RWD.
