Traditional Trade Reinvention (TTR) is one of the most strategic programs in NielsenIQ.

Today the majority of the data collection in Traditional Trade channels happen manually, where an auditor visits the store & spends a few hours to a few days to collect data that gets used for the retail measurement products.

Goal is to ensure this manual collection is converted to a digital data source through partnerships with POS hardware & software companies, payment gateways, data aggregators etc.

where the data starts coming directly from their system.

This role is responsible for working with the Global Data Strategy leader to drive the overall TTR Data Strategy roadmap for all regions.

So this is a very critical role since this acts as a strategic enabler between the Data Partnership Lead who is hunting for POS vendors, the Vendors, Operations & the TTR Product Leadership


Job Description:

This is a global role & requires strong strategic & out of box thinking. This role will be responsible to work closely with the Data Partnership Leads and enable them with all support needed to close the deals like
- coming up with right partner offering, support in negotiations, organize new way of working and use of the data as well as engaging with Operations and PL teams to develop or enhance framework, processes and indicators of success.


About you

  • Strong strategic acumen & someone who is very comfortable working across stakeholders to drive the end objective of the team. Ideal fit will be someone who is curious & always looking for opportunities to come up with solutions that take us a level higher each time

Responsibilities

  • Work with regional TTR PL on channel level strategy & it's connect to the vendor sourcing
  • Disseminate Product Road map to the regions to ensure sync with vendor sourcing
  • Work with countries to create business case, vendor proposal & investment plans for strategic partnership to help us expand footprint in the market
  • Provide support with drafting & finalizing contracts
  • Be a SPOC between Data Partners & TTR Transition team to ensure sync in strategy and clear roadblocks along the way
  • PMO Partner in process improvement discussions to reduce cycle time for critical steps
  • PMO Partner in creation of E2E TTR framework
  • Be SPOC for deployments on sourcing side for solutions like MIS, T&B APP
  • Track & report progress for the Top 20 acceleration plans as well as BAU plus specific initiatives for Tier 3 and 4 countries
  • SPOC for regular leadership reviews & updates on TTR Vendor Pipeline
  • Keep track of T-LOG inventory to enable product discussions
  • Keep track for a future acquisition opportunities & activate at right time

Qualifications:


  • 35 years of experience in operations activities & business development
  • Operates well with stakeholders across teams. Is a great team player
  • Ideally from FMCG or Retail background, if not then 2nd choice will be folks from Retail Tech or SaaS background
  • Operates independently, while knowing when & how to escalate for support
  • Great communication skills, out of box thinker, someone who is great at clearing roadblocks by establishing good relationships across internal / external teams
  • Is confident directly working with Band 2 & 3 level leaders within the company
  • Collaborative & operates well in slightly unstructured team that is in evolution stage right now
