    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Logistics Specialist

    Position Purpose:
    As our Logistics Specialist, your main focus will be on managing Nexeo logistics partners for warehousing and outbound transportation in the EMEA region. Ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials from our warehouses to the customers, benefiting not just Nexeo but also our logistic vendors. Your goal is to optimize Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost within your operational scope. This role will be based at the Barcelona European Headquarters.


    Primary Responsibilities:
    - Performance / Issue management o Ensuring Safety, Health, and Environment compliance o Handling Quality aspects such as complaints and damages o Monitoring €/T control versus budget o Reviewing invoices and managing credit notes o Controlling booking agenda - Transactional tasks based on integration level with logistics partner o Creating Delivery Notes (DN) o Handling Post Goods Issue (GI) tasks o Managing Goods Receipt (GR) o Managing cancellations, corrections, and material checks, including stock adjustments o Conducting stock take audits - Managing local repacking activities - Ad hoc tasks o Supporting tendering and contracting initiatives within your geographical scope o Ensuring logistics partners have all Material Data Sheets and adhere to SHE standards o Contributing to defining procedures and flow diagrams related to Nexeo Quality System o Providing support for overseas supply and import customs clearance - Other duties as assigned


    Primary Requirements:
    - Hard skills o Proficiency in English (proficiency in other EMEA languages, particularly Catalan and Spanish, is a plus) o Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel o Advanced user of SAP (MM and SD modules) o At least 3 years of experience in Logistics o Preferred BSc or MSc in Engineering Sciences (degrees in Supply Chain / Logistics will be advantageous)
