    Job Description Summary:

    As part of the Spanish Consulting & Engineering team, the candidate will give technical support for Technical Due Diligence process of PV energy projects as well as perform activities such as general technical advisory services, technical due diligence, engineering design review and construction supervision, among others.

    Job Description:

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Perform technical due diligences of PV and Wind assets. Also BESS.
    • Perform yield assessments of PV and Wind projects, using tools such as Pvsyst and ranging from wind measurements to statistical performance data analysis in the case of wind projects.
    • Perform site visit to projects already in operation to identify any issues that could affect the long-term operation.
    • Perform site visits to lands where projects are being developed to detect the risks associated with the terrain, restrictions (rivers, electric lines, protected trees), the surroundings and any other possible constraints that could affect the project both during the construction or the operational phase.
    • Design layout of PV plants using tools such as AutoCAD, Helios 3D and PVcase.
    • Preliminary design and energy yield assessment of Wind projects (WindPro, Vortex, Wasp).
    • Monitoring of the projects under construction, to detect any deviation and issues that may affect the project during the operational phase.
    • Support during the development phase of the PV/Wind projects

    Key Requirements:

    • MSC in Energy/ Industrial / Civil Engineer or similar
    • 2-3 years of experience in the energy market as a minimum
    • Experience in Consultancy and the Renewable Market
    • Good knowledge of PV and wind energy technologies
    • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office package, AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Project
    • Language Skills: Spanish, English: TOEIC 800+, C1 level or similar
    • Driving license
    • Availability for travelling

    Desired Requirements

    • Technical knowledge of solar PV and Wind.
    • PV solar projects development experience (Spain, Portugal and/or Italy)
    • Good experience in managing SCADA systems;
    • Good knowledge of Office, WAsP, WindPRO;
    • Experienced in Construction of Energy Plants and/or Substations
    • Other renewable markets experience (CSP, Biomass, Hydro...)
    • Knowledge of specialized software, especially PVsyst and WindPRO.
