    Inside the group, Crosspoint is a dynamic and rapidly growing SME in the broadcast industry.
    We are looking for a new colleague, based in Spain, preferably in Madrid or surroundings.

    As Junior Presales Engineer, you will be specialist in the newest and most relevant technologies of the sector, to provide technical advice, consultancy, and documentation during the sales process in all the stages like customer prospections and queries, proposals, and quotes.

    It will include leading presentations, demos, and proofs of concept (PoC) to the customers as technical specialist.

    You also will play the role of communication bridge between manufacturers and customers, coordinating the right flow of technical information.

    The primary objective is to manage and distribute all technical details of our devices and services portfolio to advise the most optimal solution to the customer requirements, achieving the highest customer success and the best corporate image.

    REPORTS TO:
    Head of SalesDUTIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Support to the sales team as AV Broadcast technical expert in presentations, meetings, questions, and proposals.
    • Specialize in edge AV Broadcast technologies, and specific product lines and systems through issued documentation, presales and technical trainings and manufacturer certifications.
    • Advise and customer closeness to meet complex solutions requirements. Build a strong relationship with customers and prospect sales opportunities.
    • Technical design of proposals.
    • Prepare, write, and coordinate technical documentation to answer tenders, RFIs, RFPs...
    • Coordinate and demonstrate technical AV Broadcast systems and devices in trade-shows, open door sessions or other promotional events.
    • Assist and attend to factory visits, customer sites, partner conferences, events, or trade-shows either in Spain or abroad.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Degree in Audio visual and Multimedia Systems Engineering or equivalent.
    • Basic knowledge in Broadcast IP technologies (ex. ST2022, ST2110, NMOS, H.264, H.265 and similar technologies) and/or knowledge in cloud-based broadcast solutions is required. Advanced knowledge is highly valued.
    • IT and computing knowledge. Routing switch and/or AWS certifications are highly valued.
    • Good command of MS Office.
    • B2 English level required.
    • Previous experience in the broadcast sector is valued.

    • Demonstrate basic technical knowledge in AV / Broadcast product lines such as cameras, video switchers, audio mixers, multi viewers and video processors, video and audio routing, graphics and branding, playout and broadcasting, intercom and other systems used in Broadcast technology.
    • Good verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure is highly valued.
    • Take responsibility for your own health and safety as necessary.
    • Comply with the Company's disciplinary and grievance procedure as required.
