This Wednesday, February 16, the Executive Committee of FETEIA-OLTRA , chaired by Enric Tico , with the participation of the Freight Forwarders Associations ( ATEIA-OLTRA ) from Alicante, Aragon, Asturias, Bay of Algeciras, Balearic Islands, Barcelona, Bizkaia, Cádiz, Ceuta, Galicia, Gipuzkoa, Girona, Madrid, Málaga, Seville, Tarragona, Tenerife and Valencia.
The Committee adopted the following agreements:
· Designate Juan Uhia from ATEIA-OLTRA Galicia as the new President of the Customs Commission of the Federation.
Juan Uhia began his activity in 1992 as a Freight Forwarder and Customs Representative; He is currently a partner in the company GALLUS ADUANAS VIGO, SL; In 1998 he was appointed Secretary General of Ateia Pontevedra and since 2011 he is the current president of ATEIA-OLTRA GALICIA.
In 2007 he was appointed President of the FETEIA-OLTRA Training Commission and, from 2008 to 2011, he was Advisor to the Ministry of Education (INCUAL).
Approve the Activities Report for the year
The Committee debated the challenges in which the Federation is involved and a review was carried out of the work of the different Technical Commissions during recent months, acquiring special relevance the work carried out with the purpose of seeking solutions to the situation of the maritime market, both locally and internationally, in collaboration with CLECAT and FIATA. FETEIA-OLTRA makes a new call to the authorities to take measures to recover a certain normality that will ensure the functioning of the supply chain .
