The Asset Management team's goal is to facilitate a positive customer experience with NEXTracker.
The Field Services Lead ensures that NEXTracker's product and continuing support exceeds customer expectations and is of the highest quality possible, developing customer loyalty by optimizing the product to the customer's needs and providing great technical support services.
What a typical day looks like:
- You will test and commission NEXTracker tracker installations;
- Provide training to onsite NEXTracker employees and partner companies;
- You will provide tracker controller expertise, supporting controller commissioning process and ongoing maintenance;
- Provide technical support for NEXTracker customers worldwide, ensuring a best in class customer experience and providing product and systems expertise to maximize customer value;
- Manage controller commissioning process for customer acceptance of NEXTracker tracker installations for placement of warranty;
- Play a key role in third party qualification for O&M providers;
- Support product development, sales, and marketing as requested
- Work closely with Tech Services Team providing in the field repairs and documenting all issues;
- Manage field testing of prototype and beta product lines;
- Support in the development of controller technical documentation for Commissioning and O&M, including revision control;
- Be an internal customer advocate within NEXTracker;
- Able to carry a $2000 balance at a time on a personal credit card for travel expenses.
Here is some of what you'll need (required):
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent power generation and commissioning experience;
- Strong understanding of customer and technical support for Utilityscale and DG projects;
- Extensive experience with power generation troubleshooting;
- Extensive experience with various controls systems;
- Strong drive for Renewable Energy Industry Development;
- Excellent customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Up to 75% travel required;
- Must be able to walk for most of the day while carrying tools.
