- Lead and support production instances, maintaining customer environments for high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to enhance systems performance, providing root cause analysis, fix resolution, and continuous process improvement.
- Provide implementation support and collaborate with Developers and Architects to build configurations that support middleware based on requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation for middleware installations, changes, and upgrades.
- Train Junior Engineers on system administration updates and new installations.
- Maintain and contribute to improving all services, such as documentation, scripts, and automation.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Minimum 4-5 years of demonstrated experience as an administrator of the following technologies:
- AIX 7.1, AIX 7.2, IBM Power 8, and IBM Power 9
- High availability systems based on IBM PowerHA
- IBM PowerVM virtualization systems
- Linux RHEL 7, RHEL 8, and RHEL 9
- Task automation using shell scripting (ksh, bash, powershell)
- VMware and vSphere
