Job Purpose Supervise the engineering departments responsible for aircraft structures and systems, ensuring compliance withregulatory requirements and company standards, in order to maintain airworthiness, operational efficiency, andsupport strategic initiatives.

Main Accountabilities Supervise the engineering departments for aircraftstructures and systems. Provide technical support for structural damageand repairs. Control and manage structural damage withinAMOS. Oversee the analysis and implementation ofAirworthiness Directives (ADs) related to structuresand systems. Manage non-mandatory modifications andpreventive measures based on reliability alerts. Coordinate with branding and marketingdepartments for aircraft livery and interior changes. Oversee the landing gear change program andrelated budgeting. Develop and implement continuous improvementprojects within the department. Provide guidance and support during regulatoryaudits and inspections. Manage the configuration control of fleetcomponents. Oversee the use of advanced technologies fordamage assessment and repair. Liaise with suppliers and external maintenanceproviders for repair and overhaul services. Foresee and monitor delivery and redelivery costs, reporting to senior company management. Manage departmental innovation processes.

Oversee the execution of modifications and repairs Organize and manage the team, promoting theirdevelopment, teamwork and communication, between their collaborators and the rest of theCompany.

Perform any other responsibility or function that isassigned inherent to the job.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks Ensure the effective coordination and performance of teamsresponsible for the structural integrity and system functionalityof the fleet, facilitating seamless operations and adherence tosafety standards.

Ensure timely and accurate technical assistance tomaintenance teams, guaranteeing safe, compliant repairs andminimizing aircraft downtime.

Ensure all structural damage is accurately logged, monitored, and managed, leading to appropriate follow-up inspections orfinal repairs to maintain aircraft integrity.

Ensure compliance with mandatory ADs by conductingnecessary inspections and modifications, maintaining aircraftsafety and regulatory compliance. Implement improvements and preventive measures to addressfrequent operational issues, enhance fleet reliability, andreduce maintenance costs. Ensure that all branding projects, such as new liveries orinterior updates, are executed effectively, meeting technicalrequirements and company standards.

Manage the planning, execution, and financial aspects oflanding gear changes to ensure minimal disruption, costefficiency, and adherence to operational schedules.

Drive innovation and process improvements to enhanceoperational efficiency, maintain high engineering standards, and support strategic goals. Ensure preparedness and active participation in audits tomaintain compliance with aviation regulations and address anyfindings promptly. Ensure all aircraft components are accurately tracked andmaintained according to regulatory and operationalrequirements, supporting fleet reliability and safety. Implement new technologies such as drones and scanners toimprove the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of damageassessments and repairs. Ensure effective communication and coordination with externalpartners to meet maintenance and repair needs, optimizingcosts and quality. Provide necessary documentation and evidence to supportclaims, ensuring accurate and timely processing, andminimizing financial loss. Anticipate financial impacts of aircraft transitions, manage costseffectively, and provide detailed reports to inform decision making. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within thedepartment to enhance operational efficiency and fleetperformance, leveraging new technologies and methodologies. Ensure all modifications and repairs are performed inaccordance with regulatory guidelines, maintaining fleet safetyand compliance. Make the department managed a better place to work. Main Relationships Head of Technical Services:
For overall departmental direction, strategic alignment, and reporting. Compliance Monitoring Manager CAMO (RCC CAMO): For developing regulations, procedures, and correctiveactions from audits


Maintenance Planning Department:
For scheduling and executing maintenance campaigns, modifications, andensuring availability of necessary resources. Operational Control Centre (MOC): For addressing real-time technical queries and supporting operational needs


External Maintenance Providers:
For coordinating structural and systems repairs, overhauls, and ensuring servicequality


Branding and Marketing Departments:
For implementing aircraft livery and interior changes, ensuring technicalfeasibility and compliance


Insurance and Finance Departments:
For managing budgetary concerns, processing insurance claims, andfinancial reporting. Regulatory Authorities (e. g.

, EASA, AESA):
For compliance with aviation regulations, participation in audits, andimplementing regulatory updates


Suppliers and Lessors:
For managing lease agreements, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery andcompliance of components. Internal Engineering Teams (Systems, Structures, Reliability): For collaborative problem-solving, implementingmodifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strategic Project Teams within IAG Group:
For aligning and implementing strategic initiatives across the group.

Education Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field, essential forunderstanding the technical aspects of aircraft structures and systems.

Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical services engineering tasks, necessaryfor familiarity with the technical and operational demands of the role.

Proven experience in managing technical projects, demonstrates the abilityto lead, coordinate, and optimize team performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, required for evaluating maintenance
programs, addressing technical issues, and implementing improvements. Experience with regulatory compliance, necessary for understanding and applying
relevant aviation regulations and standards. Ability to act as liaison during regulatory audits, demonstrates readiness to assume
responsibilities in regulatory matters and effective communication with authorities. Project management experience, important for overseeing complex projects,
coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion. Competencies In-depth knowledge of aircraft structures and systems, crucial for overseeing the
maintenance and modifications of the fleet. Familiarity with AMOS or similar aviation management software, important for
managing maintenance operations and technical records efficiently. Understanding of Airworthiness Directives and safety regulations, necessary for
ensuring compliance and implementing required modifications and safety measures
