    The role and candidate we are looking for

    Primary Position Objectives

    • The data engineering and reporting analyst will play a key part in our purpose to generate business value through customer insights. They will:
    • Manage the data model and data flows from a CCS Customer Insights perspective.
    • Enable new data sources.
    • Contribute to the team with reporting, analytics, customer insights.

    Key responsibilities

    • Build, maintain and improve Power BI data models.
    • Work with data and tech team to define, maintain and improve ETL data flows.
    • Become a subject matter expert in the team on the Straumann data infrastructure and data mesh.
    • Contribute to the team with reporting, analytics, customer insights.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve business outcomes using data.

    Your profile

    • Experience of building and maintaining ETL data flows, particularly using AWS and Azure.
    • Commercial experience (2 years +) of building reporting and analytics products using Power BI or similar tools.
    • Experience of working with stakeholders to define requirements, build analytics and to get customer insights from data.
    • Able to work in a matrix environment, balancing the needs of different stakeholders.

    Your skills

    • Ability to use ETL tools, to get data from data warehouses into reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI.
    • SQL, DAX and data modelling in the PBI Query Editor (or similar tools).
    • Understanding of the principles of data modeling and how to build data structures and relationships that model business scenarios and requirements.
    • Reporting and visualization using PBI or similar tools.
    • Quick to learn, able to think of innovative technical and business solutions.
    • Able to work with technical development teams and business teams.
