At Arkano, I worked with a team of excellent professionals distributed in multiple regions of Latin America for clients in more than ten countries, ensuring that the solutions we build for them provide the most significant value to their business. My primary responsibilities were:

- Recruited and managed the team, increasing the capacity from 55 to 85 collaborators in 10 months.

- Trained and motivated the team, leading a group of 20 leaders to implement training plans, career plans, and instances of one-to-one feedback for 55 people in the area.

- Assigned project teams based on the knowledge and skills of the collaborators (130,000 billable hours per year).

- Ensured the quality of the project's deliverables and developed the project's standard methodology based on DevOps practices.

- Lead the offer of Microsoft cloud services, business solutions, and products for the sales and presales process.

Data & Processes Manager, Arkano – 10/2019, 10/2020

I led a business unit focused on process automation, data analysis, data engineering, and data science services on the Microsoft cloud platform (Azure, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365). 

Achieving the following:

- Recruited ten collaborators and managed a total number of 33 collaborators.

- Developed the offer and co-led the sales with Arkano’s sales area for USD 1.8MM.

- Carried out 40,000 billable hours in projects.

- Assigned 50 project teams based on the collaborators’ knowledge and skills.

DevOps Services Manager, Arkano – 06/2018, 10/2019

I led a business unit focused on infrastructure and DevOps services on the Microsoft cloud platform (Azure and Office 365).

Achieving the following:

- Recruited three collaborators and managed a total number of 10 collaborators.

- Developed the offer and co-led the sales with Arkano’s sales area for USD 400,000.

- Carried out 9,000 billable hours in projects.

- Assigned eight project teams based on the collaborators’ knowledge and skills.

Engineering Manager, Arkano – 04/2014, 06/2018

I led a team of 6 people while constructing a product to generate financial reports with the XBRL standard. Nowadays, the product meets 20 Swiss customers in the production environment. 

My roles and achievements in this project were:

- As a Project Manager, managing the team, planning the deliveries and the project budget.

- Product Owner: Managing the Roadmap and Product Backlog, surveying the requirements of the Arkano customer (MDD) and the end customer through interviews with users in Zurich, Switzerland (Credite Suisse, Novartis, Julius Baer)

- DevOps Engineer: Developing pipelines for continuous integration and deployment with Jenkins and Octopus. Ensuring the team's adoption of Kanban, Definition of Done, and Gitflow with Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.

Development Tech Lead, Abengoa – 10/2013, 04/2014

At Abengoa, I led the JAVA development team in Uruguay. My responsibilities were to survey and document the requirements, assign the work to the team, assist the team with functional and technical doubts, and ensure the quality of the deliverables.

At Arkano, I worked as a software developer over systems for the payment media industry with the client PayTrue, using Microsoft ASP.NET 4 framework with language C#.

I lived in Medellin, Colombia working in Dewak S.A. as a software developer over systems for help desk solutions, using PHP as the main technology. 

.NET  Software Engineer, SRS – 02/2011, 11/2011

I worked in the .Net development team of SRS Inc. using ASP.Net technology with C#. Our team developed a portal for automotive service that allows customers to follow up on their car's service. I participated in a project for an iPhone application developed in Unity using C#. This application allows users to take pictures and upload them to a Google Picasa account.

JAVA Software Engineer, SRS – 01/2010, 01/2011

I joined the development team of SRS Inc. as a Java Programmer from the QA department. At this position, I developed business logic for an application that crawls and processes automotive manuals and content from different OEM's websites. Also, I developed a web application with GWT, which is used to author and decode car information.

QA Software Engineer, SRS – 05/2008, 12/2009

I joined SRS Inc. as SQA Engineer. I did testing, test case creation and automation, requirement analysis, and CRM escalation derived from the first support level. I did server installation, configuration, and management for the QA department. I developed one internal tool for executing automated test cases without human intervention.
