Job Purpose Oversee the management of Systems and Structures, Transitions, Maintenance Program and Reliability teams, andAMOS administration, ensuring compliance with Part M and Part CAMO regulations, in order to maintain fleetairworthiness, implement safety directives, and optimise maintenance efficiency.
Main Accountabilities Oversee the management of the Systems andStructures, Transitions, Maintenance Program andReliability teams, and AMOS administration. Ensure departmental activities comply with Part M andPart CAMO regulations. Oversee the execution of all maintenance tasks inaccordance with M.A.302 and M.A Manage the policy for mandatory and non-mandatorymodifications. Collaborate with the Compliance Monitoring ManagerCAMO (RCC CAMO) on regulations, procedures, andcorrective actions from Compliance Monitoring auditsand inspections. Analyze the effectiveness of the approved maintenanceprogram in line with M.A.302 (M.A Maintain the system of technical records of continuedairworthiness in accordance with Part M and PartCAMO requirements. Oversee the department budget and manage aircraftlease agreements. Act as a focal point for implementing strategic projectswith other airline departments and OpCos of the IAGgroup. Maintain the Safety Focal Point position. Support insurance claims related to aircraft damages. Foresee and monitor delivery and redelivery costs,reporting to senior company management. Oversee management and negotiation of aircraft leaseagreements. Manage departmental innovation processes. Implement and monitor the reliability program. Organize and manage the team, promoting theirdevelopment, teamwork and communication, betweentheir collaborators and the rest of the Company. Perform any other responsibility or function that isassigned inherent to the job.Main Responsibilities - Tasks Ensure effective coordination, performance, andintegration of technical teams to maintain fleetairworthiness and reliability, adhering to regulatorystandards and operational goals.
Achieve compliance with European and nationalregulatory standards to ensure the safety, legality, andefficiency of all maintenance operations. Ensure maintenance activities are executed accuratelyand punctually to maintain aircraft safety, operationalreadiness, and regulatory compliance. Implement necessary modifications to improve fleetperformance, ensure compliance with safety directives,and optimize operational efficiency, including cost-savingmeasures. Develop, implement, and monitor corrective measures andnew regulations to maintain compliance and enhancemaintenance processes, based on audit findings. Evaluate and adjust the maintenance program to improveefficiency, reduce operational disruptions, and ensurecontinuous airworthiness, based on data analysis andfeedback.
Ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely record keeping to support regulatory compliance, operationalintegrity, and smooth transitions of aircraft in and out of thefleet.
Control departmental expenditures, negotiate lease termseffectively, and report on financial performance to seniormanagement, ensuring optimal resource utilization andcost management. Facilitate strategic initiatives and projects to align withgroup objectives, enhancing operational synergies andinnovation. Address safety concerns promptly, ensuring high safetystandards and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide necessary documentation and evidence tosupport claims, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Anticipate financial impacts of aircraft transitions, managecosts effectively, and provide detailed reports to informdecision-making. Negotiate lease terms and manage agreements tooptimize financial performance and minimize penalties. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within thedepartment to enhance operational efficiency and fleetperformance. Ensure the reliability program is effectively executed,analysing data to identify and address recurrent issues,improving overall fleet reliability. Make the department managed a better place to work. For safety findings and event reporting. Education Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, ssential for understanding thetechnical and regulatory aspects of the role.
Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical services engineering tasks, necessaryto ensure familiarity with the technical and operational demands of the role.
2 years in a previous manager position, required to demonstrate theability to manage teams and projects effectively. Proven experience in managing technical teams and projects, demonstrates the abilityto lead, coordinate, and optimize team performance.
