    We are looking for a motivated professional to join us as a Development and Application Chef, part of the Kerry Europe retail chef team with a focus on Southern Europe, dedicated to delivering for Kerry & the customer.
    Reporting to the RDA Executive Chef, you will play a key role in the Southern Europe RD&A team, collaborating with Commercial, Marketing, and Customer teams on innovative product innovation and renovation to create appealing applications for customers across various categories like meals, soups, sauces, meats, plant protein, and snacks.
    The ideal candidate will craft food showcasing Kerry's Ingredients blended for Taste and Nutrition to excite customers, demonstrating how they can produce consumer-preferred products efficiently by closely partnering with us.
    We leverage our technologies and consumer insights to develop food solutions that meet market demands and consumer preferences.
    This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team in a new facility with state-of-the-art technologies in vibrant Barcelona.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Create innovative concept ideas aligning with Kerry's target technologies and customer requirements based on market insights.
    • Build strong relationships with key customers in Southern Europe to drive value for both the customer and Kerry.
    • Collaborate with Kerry RD&A technologists to deliver on customer briefs, utilizing culinary and market expertise.
    • Infuse chef and food insights into the business, driven by a passion for food and sustainability.
    • Foster relationships within the Global Kerry chef network.
    • Engage with marketing teams to grasp consumer trends and collaborate with commercial leads for business growth.
    • Work closely with stakeholders in Kerry Barcelona office across various functions.
    • Maintain laboratory equipment, facilities, and adhere to health and safety standards.
    • Create and deliver product presentations aligning Kerry's technology advantage with customer requirements.
    • Implement a consistent positive release process across projects for high standards.
    • Stay informed about competitors, market trends, and consumer behavior.
    • Demonstrate agility to drive business growth beyond routine responsibilities.
    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Educational background in culinary arts, food, or related field.
    • Experience working as a Chef in the restaurant industry.
    • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
    • Innovative with a passion for food creation.
    • Capacity to deliver efficiently under pressure.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Proficient in kitchen & laboratory practices.
    • Good computer literacy.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
    • Enthusiasm for food preparation and evaluation.
    • Proactive, curious, and questioning mindset.
    • Fluency in Spanish and English.
