Roles and Responsibilities

As the Offshore PLM product owner you will:

  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of how PLM is utilized to manage parts, product definition, and related data throughout the entire product lifecycle, including modules that are not belonging to engineering core activities.
  • Actively participate in CORELLA development and deployment initiatives through Multi
  • Generation Product Plan ensuring this is meeting with Offshore business needs and priorities
  • Becomes CORELLA product Offshore primary contact for CORELLA project & development teams
  • Define and maintain list of enhancements required for Offshore business, make them approved and prioritized by CORELLA development teams according to Offshore projects needs.
  • Define training plan and knowledge sharing per product areas for all Offshore engineering community.
  • Ensure adherence to the tool of all engineering and more globally Offshore community
  • Work closely with Product Line, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Project Management Office and Services to identify CORELLA new requirements that are clear, concise and valid.
  • Build strong relationship with EASE Product owner team and provide them support on a need and regular basis.
  • Be part of engineering various team meeting, ensure prompt support to the community
  • Be familiar with CM2 philosophy and guidance, to assist Renewable Energy Offshore Wind configuration and product definition procedures to comply with or continuously improve execution practices.
  • Support the GE Digital Industrial Strategy, including Digital Thread, Digital Twin, and Digital DNA (Understand how it relates to Renewables PLM Strategy).
  • Leverage external/internal best practices to identify continuous process improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with PLM, Configuration Management and related software (Enovia/Aras PLM, 3D CAD software, and Oracle ERP)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering or related technical roles
  • Experience with PLM system development and data/process migration
