    Sales Market Development Specialist - Madrid, España - Hitachi Vantara Corporation

    General Information:
    Develop, nurture, and achieve marketing qualified leads to shift to sales in the region; establish a pipeline of high-quality leads and opportunities within the Grid Automation Business Unit, striving to reach the qualitative and quantitative objectives for products, systems, and/or services profitably, surpassing sales goals, and guaranteeing customer satisfaction.


    Your Responsibilities:
    - Generate, nurture, and accomplish marketing qualified lead targets in the region to transition to sales
    - Collaborate and foster relationships with sales representatives and sales leadership to progress leads through the pipeline to meet or exceed top-line goals
    - Conduct research on targeted accounts and new contacts for prospecting using 3rd party data tools and solutions
    - Acquire in-depth knowledge of GA's solution portfolio to facilitate effective regional lead generation
    - Partner with stakeholders to establish marketing initiatives backed by outbound outreach
    - Maintain regular updates in Salesforce to monitor lead qualification status and ensure precise reporting, while upholding the accuracy and integrity of data in the database

    Requirements for the role:
    - Personable, outgoing, and capable of starting conversations and communications in an engaging manner with a persistent drive to generate new leads and achieve objectives
    - Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools; familiarity with Salesforce and Eloqua is advantageous
    - Strong organizational and time management skills, coupled with exceptional listening and communication abilities, both written and verbal, and adept presentation skills
    - Demonstrated capability to prospect through warm and cold call interactions via phone, email, tradeshows, and events to nurture and assess leads
    - Ability to self-generate leads; recognize and research targeted accounts and personas through 3rd party tools and data solutions
    - Establish connections with various decision makers and influencers at different levels
    - Comprehend technical concepts, intricate solution portfolios, and competitive landscapes
    - Align marketing funnel strategies and oversee sales cycles effectively
    - Represent Hitachi Energy at tradeshows and events; Manage multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail in a dynamic environment

    Your background:
    - Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or communications
    - Two years of experience in outbound demand generation, business development, or sales prospecting supporting external sales teams with a proven track record of achieving outcomes
    - Experience in industries like power grids, utilities, renewables, transportation, mining, or asset-intensive fields
    - Proficiency in English and Spanish is required
