    Job Purpose A Ground Operations Quality Specialist position will be responsible for managing the entire process in reference to all quality and safety related events, discrepancies, reports, and findings.

    Responsible for preparing reports as required by its manager, as well as keeping it informed of internal performance, risks detected, and proposing actions to achieve continuous improvement in all areas of the department Responsible to cooperate and establish new ways of communication with the different members of ground operations team and cooperate with the rest of the areas of Ground Operations, especially with the operational one.

    Cooperate with the Ground Ops Quality Manager in the elaboration and updating of procedures.

    Cooperate closely with its manager and participate in different internal projects Main Accountabilities Is accountable for ensuring processes, procedures, and products or services comply with regulatory and quality standards.

    Follow-up of quality audits and operational safety events. Is in charge ofpreparing monthly reports on the monitoring of internal and external quality and safety events.

    Is responsible for identifying any quality and safety deviations from the contract and proceeding to notify penalties to the customer.

    Is in charge of leading and managing transversal projects with other internal departments. Is accountable for creating a positive work atmosphere and providing guidance and support to the team. Main Responsibilities - Tasks Compile and analyse the events and daily reports.

    Co-ordinate with the team the request for information about the event making sure that the responses meet the established time and comply with the standards.

    Prepare monthly reports related to operational issues. Identify potential deviations in order to re-invoice the cost to the handling providers. Support on-site support for external and internal quality, safety and inspections audits. Interact with all areas of stakeholders across the organization. Assisting the quality manager with any project or requirement, for any project or requirement.

    Work closely with an internal team for the development of company policies, processes, and procedures and will participate in different internal projects.


    Main Relationships Ground operations Team Internal departments as:
    Compliance, safety, flight ops, ops engineering or any other department that may need their assistance


    External departments:
    Ground operations handlers, lost&found offices, Cargo providers, or any other who may need assistance. Education FP2 or CFGS grade, baccalaureate or higher degree onAeronautical managementor related careers.
    Experience Minimum 1 to 5 years' experience in an airport environment, depending on level of qualification.
    Competencies Strong working knowledge of ground operations.

    Highly Analytical Approach to Problem Solving Quick learner, proactive, highly organized individual with the ability to work effectively on your own initiative and as part of a team.

    Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately Communication skills Knowledge Vueling systems and applications (Navitaire, Iauditor, tableau, Coruson)
    Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially word, excel, power point). Document composition abilities, knowledge on regulations.

    Availability to travel is a must Languages English:
    C1 (B2 is absolute minimum requirement – see table) Other languages are appreciated Other Advance Microsoft office, especially Excel and Powerpoint Advance Analytical skills Data analysis Location Viladecans HC - Barcelona
