    Position DescriptionThe Quality Assurance Specialist position within Operational and CAPA QA Team of QIAGEN Barcelona site.

    Tasks within this Team and position are including, but not limited to:


    Participate on the Release process as QA stakeholder with continuous contact with Manufacturing, Quality Control, and other relevant functions within the Operations team of the site with a team work mindset.

    Evaluate and participate on the documentation, follow-up, and approval of Quality Events (Deviations, Nonconformities, OOS) detected on the site as Quality (process owner) on the QIAGEN electronic system for this purpose (TrackWise) with accountability and a proactivity mindset.

    Participate and lead for QA Operations (if required after appropriate training) on Projects (improvement and new developments); innovative ability and proactivity skills are relevant.

    Participate on Global and Local Meetings representing Operational QA BCN. Good communication skills are required.

    Execute or participate on Quality trainings to site personnel as required as part of the BCN site Quality training plan.

    Actively participate on the continuous improvement of processes as part of QA Operations & CAPA team.
    Position RequirementsBachelor's Degree on Science field (Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, etc).

    Degree or Master's degree on Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Quality is a plus but not mandatory.1-2 years minimum experience on the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry, preferably on QA positions and/or on a manufacturing site.

    Higher experience is desirable but not mandatory.
    Good English level (B2 minimum): able to read, write and speak in fluid English

    Fluent knowledge of local languages:
    Catalan and Spanish.
    Experience on handling of quality events / quality investigations, and/or handling of drug / medical device batch documentation.
