    We are seeking a diligent Purchasing Officer Intern to join our dedicated team at Centre for Genomic Regulation in Barcelona. This opportunity to grow your career as an Internship Purchasing Officer Intern is a fantastic chance to enhance your skills.

    The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is a top-notch international biomedical research institute located in Barcelona, Spain, boasting a diverse team of over 400 scientists from 44 nations.

    The Purchasing Officer Intern will become part of the Procurement Area Team in the Finance Department, collaborating with five other Purchasing Officers to handle purchasing requests, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure optimal value for money and timely delivery.

    The Procurement Area aims to meet user and institute needs, ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness while complying with procurement regulations.

    To be considered for this role, you should be pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar, have strong communication skills, be proficient in Spanish and Catalan, possess advanced MS Office skills, and demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Duration: minimum 6 months internship

    Estimated annual gross salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and consistent with our pay scales
