As our Office Manager Intern you make miracles happen for our Barcelona office location. You love to organize and manage projects such as internal events, helping/guiding new Byndies to settle in, social programs. You can juggle a number of different priorities at once.

You're famous for your positive attitude, efficient work methods and you take on any task with a smile to make sure everything at the office runs smoothly.

You love to see how a fast growing company is run from a foundational level and like to work cross functionally with all kinds of different teams.

You will have 34 colleagues either working remotely and/or working in our Barcelona office. Your job is to make it as easy as possible for them to do their work wherever they are. You provide them guidance from A to Z, but you also manage them to take responsibilities on their own.


What you will do:


  • You will have an important role in making Byndies feel welcome.
  • First point of contact for colleagues, suppliers, customers, etc.
  • Greet visitors, offer refreshments, and alert appropriate parties of visitor's arrival.
  • Manage all aspects of the office: order supplies, keep inventory, ensure that every Byndie has what they need in order to be successful and ensure that the office runs smoothly.
  • Take care of incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
  • Keeps the invoice archive updated, creating PO's and manages incidents.
  • Ordering office supplies, presents, swag and process invoices.
  • Help coordinate both inoffice and offsite events.
  • Arrange and prepare daily lunches, catered lunches and drinks.
  • Support travel arrangements.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding; setup desk space, facilitate ongoing communication regarding necessary supplies, training, etc. prior for the new hire's start date.
  • You will be guided by the Office manager of Barcelona.
  • You will be working closely together with our Facility manager EMEA and the team of office managers.
  • You will learn a lot about all the aspects of Office Management.

What you have:


  • You need to be available for a fulltime or parttime internship from the beginning of February/March 202
  • You pursue an education towards (Office) Management, Personal Assistant/Secretary (MBO or HBO) or any other related field.
  • You possess excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch or/and English.
  • You have an outgoing and friendly personality and you love to work with an international team of office managers throughout EMEA.

You need to be enrolled in a school/university throughout the whole duration of the internship.**:


  • Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, you need to be based in the Netherlands already.
