    The Role In the IT Infrastructures area, we are currently seeking a Systems Engineer for the Distributed Platforms team, with a strong background in managing extensive infrastructures, particularly emphasizing Linux/Unix and Virtualization (VMware) technologies.


    What Your Responsibilities Will Be:
    • Acquire knowledge and technical expertise for all Linux/Unix services
    • Act as a technical reference for managed services and the final technical escalation point
    • Collaborate with the Service Manager and Project Leader to define and implement the Technical evolutive roadmap
    • Continuously evaluate ways to optimize and enhance the overall infrastructure
    • Participate in project analysis, design, and implementation
    • Develop and establish best practices, guidelines, and standards
    • Work on cross projects and mainly on the implementation phase for strategic projects
    • Maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues to foster collaboration and achieve mutual goals
    What We Need to See from You: To succeed in this role, the right candidate must have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
    • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
    • Team player mentality: Positive and collaborative, focusing on shared benefits
    • Strong analytical, prioritization, and decision-making abilities based on business criticality and impact
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure in large organizations
    • Proactive and optimistic when facing new challenges, committed to continuous improvement
    • Solid technical knowledge of Linux technologies including Red Hat 6, 7, 8, Debian, HP-UX
    • Familiarity with clustering services like Pacemaker, CUPS, Oracle RAC, and Service Guard
    • Experience with OpenLDAP, SatelliteNAS, and SAN
    • Skilled in LVMDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Disaster Recovery processes
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Ansible
    • High expertise in server hardware including DELL Poweredge, HPE C7000, Superdome SDX, Synergy Frames, and Enclosures
    • Proven track record as an IT Engineer or Architect
    • In-depth understanding of Linux/Unix technologies and infrastructure best practices
    • Basic knowledge of Networks, Security, Storage, and Backup systems
    • High level of proficiency in spoken and written English
