Provide full product life-cycle counseling for a variety of global products. Ensure product compliance with applicable EU and international laws and regulations, IP and open source. Provide a wide range of subject matter expertise and resource on privacy, security, and data protection. Support the product and engineering teams in applying privacy by design principles, developing impact assessments, and creating and rolling out privacy collateral Support security incident response team in responding to potential data breaches.

Draft external privacy notices and disclosures and manage/update internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with global privacy laws.Work with the commercial legal team globally to support and facilitate negotiation of product-specific terms with customers and suppliers: NDA, SaaS T&C, launching SaaS Products, Security, data privacy, IP and compliance. Provide advice to our strategic partnerships, integrations, and product teams during the development lifecycle to minimize legal risks, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and advance business goals. Guide open-source use and help evolve and manage the opensource compliance program.

Partner closely with Human Resources and business partners to provide day to day counseling, evaluate legal risks and provide subject matter knowledge on a broad range of labor and employment issues, including recruiting and hiring, training, employee management, complex leaves of absences, and HR best practices. Develop, update, and implement employment policies (including hiring practices, performance management, employee relations, internal investigations, terminations, leaves of absence, accommodations, compensation, and benefits) to ensure best practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Partner with cross-functional teams, to provide strategic, business-oriented employment law guidance across multiple jurisdictions. Manage and provide advice related to Works Council matters. Collaborate with the Human Resources team to generate, update, and implement training on HR and employment law topics. Manage pre-litigation and litigation disputes related to employment matters, including preparing litigation holds and document gathering. Support diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives.
