    Treasury Control Specialist Madrid | working from home up to 60% | Reference 6226

    We are looking for a Treasury Control Specialist with experience in operational part of banking and/or back-middle office in financial institutions.

    Would you like to continue developing your career in treasury? Are you interested in supporting the CSDs and CCPs in a regulated entity treasury area? Are you familiar with treasury related tasks in day-to-day business, especially payments, foreign exchange activities, and overnight placements? Would you like to further develop monitoring and controlling tools for these activities and contribute with your expertise?

    What You Will Do oversee clearing and post-trading business related to client payments and liquidity management, while focusing on P&L reconciliation, operational controls, and other controlling-related accounting tasksdevelop and implement treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practicesprepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management, regulators, and other stakeholdersoversee all aspects of treasury operations including cash management, investments, and foreign exchange transactionsconduct financial analysis and prepared reports to support decision-making related to investments, borrowing, and capital allocationWhat You Bringbachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, economics or any related field.

    Any professional certification such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be a plusbetween 3 and 5 years of experience in payments, security settlement and/or cash & liquidity area in operational/back office treasury team, with a demonstrated understanding and interest of controlling and reporting principlescollaborative mindset with a positive attitude and at the same time independent, customer-focused, accurate, and efficient way of working, with a keen eye for detail in controlling-related tasksgood analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and proficient in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectivelyability to work in a dynamic environment with local and global clients that require international coverage, even during local holidays, while adhering to strict operational controls If you have any questions, please call Sara Perez de la Cuesta at
