ABOUT THE JOB As a System Engineer Network , you will be part of a cross-functional team that enables networking engineering skills and capabilities across TUI.
Contribute to the delivery of technical solutions and will work within a Product Team to ensure the correct solution is engineered, addressing the technical needs and requirements of the business.
Achieve this by delivering changes across the IT stack in collaboration with Agile delivery teams, using technology and common automation, ensuring successful deliverables within agreed time and quality targets.
Diligently care about the quality of your work, including proper documentation and security aspects.Within your team, you will design and implement secure, scalable, traditional & cloud-native solutions and be responsible for driving architecture, design, development, security and operations.
Take proactive corrective action and improve automation to enhance platform flexibility and general availability. You can verbalise your thoughts and ideas and take the initiative to translate ideas into outcomes.Love to work in an international, multi-cultural team.

There are many ways for you to get involved : Design, develop and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN and network security infrastructure.
Provide management of incidents, requests and projects and ensure a timely and successful resolution of problems.Monitor and maintain network connectivity.
Analyze and troubleshoot network performance issues.
Produce and maintain documentation related to all systems developed / deployed.
Manage day-to-day operational tasks to ensure the best service offering for our clients.
Work independently and proactively collaborating with the rest of IT teams and with the 3rd party service providers.
Undertake weekend work is a requirement for this position.
Willingness to be on call and to travel.
ABOUT YOU There is more than one way to the perfect fit here are some of the ideal things :
Extensive hands-on experience with diversified network technologies like WAN, LAN, WLAN, 802.1X (Network Access Control), firewalling, load balancing, routing, switching and VPNs.
Experience with deployment, maintenance and administration of equipment from multiple vendors, such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet and HPE ArubaKnowledge of different protocols / services like DNS, DHCP, SSL, IPSec, etc.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, with a team-oriented approach.Scripting / Automation experience Python Perl Ansible.
Analytical and conceptual thinking mindset, as well as creative problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills in English, verbal and written. Spanish is a plus.
Any certification from Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto or AWS will be advantageous.
