OmniAccess is looking for a Junior Network Provisioning Engineer who shares our values, to help us with the configuration and testing of the network devices related to the services that OmniAccess provides to its maritime customers.

In this culture of continuous improvement, the Junior Network Provisioning Engineer will learn and be involved in the building and testing of configurations, with the aim of helping the team to deliver the best-in-class and top-quality services.

The Junior Network Provisioning Engineer works closely with the Senior Engineers of the department, following the processes to configure OmniAccess solutions in the OmniAccess Lab in Palma.

Whilst an onboard network of a Mega yacht may not have the scale of a large corporate deployment, they do have the complexity and cutting-edge technology that is driven by the requirements of the clients that push the boundaries of today's systems to reach the unreachable.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

Configuration and testing of networking equipment, including Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless Lan Controllers and access points, VoIP, Fortinet Firewalls, etc., at OmniAccess lab.
Build the documentation and diagrams for the installation of network equipment.
Coordinate with other team engineers during the planning of configurations.
Provide remote troubleshooting support and problem analysis during configuration.

Desired knowledge and skills

A general understanding of networking protocols is desired.
Able to communicate and understand technical requirements with English.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including customers and company employees

Desired qualifications

Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunications Engineering Bachelor/Masters or similar
