FOR A PERMANENT POSITION
We are searching for aN QA Engineer for our Client - a rapidly growing successful business in Mallorca, who is expanding the development teams, in the Palma based office.
- Head of IT Development
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team of engineers in the creation of high quality software within agreed deadlines.
- Analyse requirements to understand the impacted system areas and create detailed test cases.
- Create accurate and detailed bug reports.
- Work closely with the other QA Engineers, to improve the automated test coverage.
- Assume a high level of ownership of all work developed by members of the team, from development through to live.
- Ensure the technologies, tools and techniques used within the team align with the agreed best practices defined by the QA team.
- Embrace a "continuous improvement" mentality.
- Actively involved in the Live Support process, where applicable.
- Be a champion for your area within the IT and business organisations.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience as a QA Analyst.
- Knowledge and working experience working in agile developments teams.
- Working knowledge and experience using test automation tools such as SoapUi, Selenium, Jmeter and Jenkins would be extremely beneficial.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Spanish.
- Selfmotivated and able to work well under pressure.
- Experience within the travel industry is highly advantages.
