The job:


We are looking for a customer focussed Receptionist to join our friendly team in our Barcelona Office, located close to the iconic Sagrada Familia.

The schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 3pm to 8 pm and occasionally on weekends and Public Holidays, from 10 am to 3 pm or 3pm tp 8 pm, depending on the necessity (25 hours/week).


Main responsibilities:


  • Prepare lists of tasks for the day (checkin, checkout, cleaning, assigning apartments to the checkin staff)
  • Manage checkins and checkouts
  • Checkin preparation. Contact customers who have not communicated their arrival time in order to correctly organize their reception.
  • Customer support by phone, mail and on site
  • Manage customer complaints and solve incidents.
  • Carry out all the activities established to open and close the office according to the guidance of the Lodging management.
  • Daily report of pending tasks or important steps to have the information in a shared and accessible place for all in order to facilitate communication to complete unfinished tasks.

What you need to have:
Experience in a Receptionist related role.
Strong customer services skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English and good attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels and across cultures.


Nice to have:
Oral and written communication skills in French.
