    For our Digital Research & Development division, we seek a dedicated, understanding, and inventive Site Reliability Engineer (f/d/m) who is eager to participate in and influence the full potential of a DevSecOps setup. You will play a vital role in crafting and running our digital products and solutions. Our cloud-native infrastructure and apps handle hundreds of millions of requests daily, all with the goal of delighting our customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Designing, Implementing, and Maintaining reliable systems and software
    • Defining and continuously improving Operational Quality Gates
    • Creating self-service tools for development teams (e.g., cloud service provider accounts, infrastructure setup, test environment automation, observability tools)
    • Closely collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the designed solution meets quality criteria in Reliability, Performance, Security, Maintainability, and Portability, for instance, by defining and achieving SLOs
    • Examining error situations, proposing solutions, implementing them, and taking steps for preventing future errors
    • Mentoring development teams in operational excellence, aiming to streamline maintenance and operations (e.g., deployments and upgrades)

    Requirements

    • Previous experience as an SRE (all genders), DevOps Engineer (all genders), or in a similar role
    • Preferred Tech Stack: AWS, Docker, Gitlab, Golang, Grafana Stack (Loki, Prometheus), Kubernetes, Java, Node, Spring Boot
    • Work background in DevOps, CI/CD, Release Management, Application Architecture, Systems Analysis, Performance Analysis, Config Management, etc.
    • Additional experience with concepts like DevSecOps, FinOps, GitOps, Chaos Engineering, and Microservice Architecture is advantageous
    • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields is a bonus alongside practical experience
    • Proficient in English, knowledge of German is a bonus
