- As our new Business Intelligence Architect, focusing on Inventory Management at APM Terminals, you will indirectly support our local Asset Management teams by creating and implementing innovative BI dashboards, products, and KPIs. You will offer architecture consulting, design, and conceptions within the IFS-BI environment, overseeing the spare parts inventory data intelligence product suite (Power BI, Smart insights, IFS lobbies, self-service, process mapping, (IMS) Inventory Management System, etc), to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Additionally, you will ensure that all inventory-related KPIs and insights are relevant and align with business needs, engaging with APMT business functions and functional leaders. Through in-depth data analysis and insights, you will provide fact-based leadership and influence in inventory-related initiatives, including ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- Understand and implement effective inventory management practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for inventory-related analysis
- Design and configure applications, bridging business requirements with technical solutions; guiding GDA teams in concept development
- Drive performance improvement projects and outcomes
- Effectively manage stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
- Lead transformative change initiatives and ensure compliance with global standards
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, supply chain)
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar BI architecture design role
- Experience with supply chain and asset maintenance data from ERP systems like IFS, SAP
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and analysis
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization abilities; with a hunger for success and dedication
- Demonstrated soft skills, follow-through, and implementation capabilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, embracing global multiculturalism
- Proven track record in managing transformation initiatives effectively
