JOIN THE TEAM

Within the Product Family Processes & Architecture we create, enable and support the optimization & automation of business processes. Working agile, we inspire, partner and consult with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions proactively across multiple businesses and technology platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead and execute process improvement projects with different teams across the entire BASF organization (e.g. teams responsible for technical realization of automation solutions).
Additionally, you will drive Digital Automation by assessing processes and identifying opportunities to eliminate, simplify and streamline processes, thereby setting the basis for automation.
You will have global exchange and collaboration with many product families.
Furthermore, you identify internal stakeholders and support them on the way of digitalization.
Furthermore, you will support the BASF Process House and support BASF's implementation of its next generation SAP system with a focus on enabling BASF to "Keep to Standard" processes.
Finally, you will train, support, coach and mentor BASF associates in the practice of continuous improvement, process optimization and automation

QUALIFICATIONS

Education University degree in business economics, computer science/Information Technology/Software or other related discipline with minimum 3 years of experience in Digital environment, preferrable ad (Senior-) Consultant or Project Manager.
Knowledge and/or certification & experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, etc
Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Agile, Dev Ops, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
Good understanding of customer requirements as well as business process understanding and ability to speak in business language.
Communication and consulting skills in fluent English are a must.

NICE TO HAVE

Spanish and German are desirable, further languages are a plus.
You like acting with empowerment, entrepreneurship and self-organization.
You have a general knowledge of Change Management, Process Optimization, Automation and Agile working models and deeper knowledge in some areas.
You are curious to learn more every day and like to share your knowledge with the team.
