- Analyse insurance market developments and trends as well as certain business initiatives.
- Provide analysis to the business colleagues with regards to competitor analysis, market research, client insights, client journey assessment, value proposition design, go-to-market strategies, product launches, etc.
- Assume responsibility for planning, execution, and budgeting of marketing and communication programs and measures.
- Interpreting needs, providing consultation to division leaders and influencing decisions to select the most effective communication tactic to meet specific objectives in order to maintain our brand positioning as a market leader.
- Work closely with Client Management and Underwriting Experts to develop and deliver marketing programs and ensure agile execution. This includes, as appropriate, editorial formats such as videos, infographics, blogs, pitch presentations and data visualisation.
- Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership.
- Contributing ideas for new ways of doing things, such as using new technology, implementing ways to increase awareness and readership, and how to utilise new communications channels.
- Designing and managing internal and external events that focus on engaging internal and external audience, positioning leaders, meeting business needs and enabling successful change.
- Design internal communication plans to maintain a high degree of commitment and transparency within the organisation.
- Engage and collaborate with global colleagues across our Global Communication functions as well as third-party vendors to execute marketing and communication deliverables
- Innovate and inspire new ways of client engagement activities in a hybrid and high-value driven sales environment.
- Effectively applying AGILE project management methods to ensure efficient cross-functional collaboration.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Marketing and Communication.
- Advanced degree in marketing, communication or business.
- Very good planning skills, highly efficient, organised and with a demonstrated ability to offer practical, business-focused solutions.
- High degree of consulting capabilities with analytical and conceptual skills as well as strong digital expertise.
- Experienced in briefing and managing of internal functions, agencies and vendors.
- Graphic design skills: presentation and moderation capabilities; proficiency in creating power point presentations for client pitches and management proposals.
- Self-confident, resilient and enduring ambiguity to a business-centred service and consulting approach.
- Highly creative, open to change, collaborative and excellent people skills for quickly communicating ideas.
- Stakeholder relationship management skills, combined with the passion to deliver exceptional marketing consulting results.
- Excellent language proficiency in English and Spanish.

At Munich Re Madrid, we are looking for a Marketing & Communication Business Partner, who is service and people-oriented, in order to professionalize our marketing and communication activities in our local markets. The candidate will serve as Business Partner supporting Client Management and Underwriting-Experts in Munich Re Madrid business teams and will design and implement the internal and external communication strategy together with the Management Team of Munich Re Madrid.
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates as well analytical skills and knows how to analyze financial / insurance market trends and developments. As Marketing & Communication Business Partner, you will be working across all areas of Client Teams and develops texts, scrips that are memorable. He/she will be contributing to local marketing and communication campaigns, integrate Munich Re Group wide campaigns in order to streamline our marketing and communication approach.
The role aims to drive business results and support growth ambitions by uniquely positioning Munich Re Madrid with clients and other stakeholders building brand awareness and business value.
You will report to the CEO of Munich Re Madrid based in Madrid.
