IT BUSINESS PARTNER

Role Purpose:

The IT Business Partner (ITBP) has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic link between IT area and the assigned business units/sector/country for the purpose of business technology strategy implement (solution discovering, service management, risk management and relationship management) and be the advisor of the BU/sector/country assigned from an IT perspective coordinating with the rest of the IT areas.

They proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of area assigned.

Main Accountabilities:

Responsible for the development and implementation of solution roadmaps and to ensure successful introductions across the organization and with customers within the area assigned.
Collaborate with IT Director and BU Director/ Country Director to develop annual IT budgets within area assigned.
Develop CoS (concept of Systems) and business cases for new investments within the area assigned.
Act as the key liaison across their business unit and the information technology department, and outside vendors (when needed).
Create consensus with other functions within IT as to the timing of solution introductions and withdrawals.
Partner with key staff members to collaborate in the implementation of IT strategic business plans.
Collaborate with IT Solutions and ISM teams to ensure solution compatibility with company stand.
Collaborate with the Project Delivery area on the intake process and prioritization of projects with the rest of IBTPs and IT Director.
