I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices and initiatives are implemented, embraced, adopted within the hotel.


_ Duties and Responsibilities_


I will assist and assume responsibility on my role as Personal GEM, providing exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.


The duties and responsibilities will include:

  • To maintain an impeccable telephone etiquette yet making guests feel comfortable by adapting the communication style.
  • To support the strategic coordination, under the direction of Personal GEM Supervisor, of all arriving, inhouse and department guests from suites in the Resort.
  • To support the Personal GEM daily arrangement of all billings related to suite guests.
  • To support the Personal GEM with the daily revision of all billings the night before checkout of suite guests.
  • To ensure proper handling of Special Guests, VIP guests and Groups.
  • To provide an ultraluxurious pre arrival experience by suggesting, planning, arranging and confirming all activities, dine outs, dine ins, transfers or any other activity during the guest ́s stay.
  • Check guest profiles and guest history prior to the guest arrival and be familiar with all the information.
  • To provide all info needed to both Finance and/or Management team in Front of House when unannouncedly audit the cashier closure procedures.
  • Notify concerned departments for guest arrival and ensure that they have the guests' history and preferences information before the arrival.
  • Coordinate with departments for transfer related requests and assist guests with transfers to and from the hotel if required.
  • Recommend, plan, schedule and make arrangement with guests for their preferred activities during the stay.
  • Upsell all resort, spa, LIFE and restaurant facilities.
  • Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
  • Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
  • Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

_ Skills and Experience_
To execute the position of Personal GEM Coordinator, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

  • Ideally graduated in Hospitality, plus 2+ years of experience in a similar hotel operational role.
  • Technical skills include advanced MS Office, Opera PMS, CRM, Micros POS and Outlook platforms. I have knowledge of resort and policies regarding reservations, discounts and detailed procedures in handling local and overseas room bookings.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Valid UE work permit.
