    OmniAccess is an industry leading marine networks solutions provider, offering a wide range of products and services with over 15 years of experience.

    From our base in Palma de Mallorca, we cater services for some of the world's largest yachts and key cruise line companies, with a very strong commitment to service quality & availability.

    We operate global VSAT GEO networks from our own teleports & HUBs located in Palma de Mallorca, Germany, Netherlands, Chile, USA, and Australia.

    As part of our integral, end-to-end solutions we design, implement, and support onboard IT networks. From 2022, we are also partnering with Starlink to offer LEO coverage.
    Job summary Omniaccess is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager for our Business Development Team.

    The BDM will be responsible for identifying, defining, and launching new services to our core customer verticals as well as identifying business opportunities in additional or complementary business verticals such as USV, Cruise, scientific research and corporate partners.

    The BDM will be responsible for looking after selected existing technical accounts and building pipeline for future business opportunities.

    Based out of Mallorca, you will be part of a competent business development team that is highly recognized within the organization and counts on management level support for innovation and business opportunities that fall outside the core business of the company.

    Main responsibilities of this position include: Think outside the boxDirectly manage a limited number of strategic accounts.
    Generate new business opportunities and convert these into clients.
    Work with customers to identify opportunities and define and execute Proof of Concepts.

    Develop a thorough understanding of the communications, network and cyber industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings and international markets.

    Meeting sales objectives through promoting our entire product and services portfolio.
    Managing a business portfolio according to an agreed market development strategy.
    Responsibility for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
    Recording of commercial activity in the appropriate CRM system.
    Responding to and following up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.

    Working closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.

    Providing two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
    Support internal partners in driving change, removing roadblocks and increasing participation of different stakeholders inside and outside the company.


    Necessary experience & qualifications:
    Strong communication skills with a client-focused attitude.
    Ability to influence C-Level Executives.
    Commercial experience in IT / Telco related market.
    Commercial experience in Cybersecurity related market.
    Ability to negotiate and liaise with prospects and customers.
    Experience in the yachting industry is an advantage.

    Although not an absolute pre-requisite, we would prefer candidates with an academic background in a relevant subject (Telecommunications Engineering, Satellite engineering, IT/Networking or computers/programming).Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
