- Coordinate and supervise the monthly and annual accounting close process.
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Perform detailed analysis of financial accounts to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Keep updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance with all obligations.
- Lead and inspire a team of accountants, effectively assigning tasks and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and cultivate professional development within the team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide strategic financial information.
- Identify and lead initiatives aimed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes.
- Implement best accounting practices and internal procedures.
- Collaborate on internal and external audits, ensuring thorough preparation and timely resolution of identified issues.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
- Proven experience of minimum 8 years in accounting and financial roles, with at least 4 years in a supervisory position.
- In-depth knowledge of both Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficient in SAP FI, with advanced skills in financial analysis tools.
- High proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Skills: high level of integrity and ethics, accountability, proactivity and collaboration, strong problemsolving skills, effective communication abilities to collaborate across diverse teams, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
