The Role
We are looking for a proactive Supplier Quality Engineer to liaise with all our current and future suppliers. You will validate any new parts or suppliers against production and customer requirements as well as our quality standards.

You will be a key part of our growing team as we move towards our industrialisation goals for the year.

We are based in Barcelona but travel both nationally and internationally will be part of the role.

We leverage our experience in motorsports to develop high-performance battery technology that is lightweight, modular, and scalable. We want to make Formula 1 battery technology available at scale.

After achieving a +200% organic revenue growth (no marketing, no external investment/grants) over the last 2 years, Bold is currently preparing for an unprecedented growth stage and is looking to fill several key positions within the company to execute the business plan.

Main activities of the role:

Evaluate and validate new suppliers to be part on BOLD ́S supplier panel
Analysis and evaluation of special customerrelevant quality requirements.
Provide input and liaise with suppliers during the RFI and RFQ stages of the acquisition phase.
Analysis and implementation of requirements for purchased parts in new developments and technical changes
Manage supplier PPAP and purchased part related APQP
Supplier Quality Management from acquisition phase to SOP and during production.
Perform customer audits and assist engineering and procurement teams from the quality point of view.
Initiate and follow through to completion any supplier NCRs

Skills

Essential

Experience with Automotive and Aerospace standards at production level
Experience as electronic or electric supplier engineer at a Tier 5+ years of experience as Supplier Engineer with expertise on Electronics and electric components
Deep knowledge and experience in the use of core tools (problem solving, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D etc.)
Fluent in Spanish and English.

Desirable

Experience with Battery Packs
Knowledge of IATF 1694
Understand the testing required to verify and validate battery products at a high level

Auditor VDA

Bachelor ́s degree (or higher) in Electric, Electronic or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent professional work experience
