After achieving a +200% organic revenue growth (no marketing, no external investment/grants) over the last 2 years, Bold is currently preparing for an unprecedented growth stage and is looking to fill several key positions within the company to execute the business plan.

About the Role

As a Senior member of the Operations team, the Purchasing Manager will be a key role in the industrialization of battery products for Aerospace, Marine, Motorsports and Hypercar projects.

You will deliver strategic operational leadership across all aspects of our site to help BOLD scale the assembly and manufacturing of high-performance battery packs, with the opportunity to create the Purchasing function from the ground up.

What You Will Do

Follow up with suppliers for daytoday work. Chasing quotes, replies, delivery dates etc of pending orders.
Liaise with production and engineering for build timings
Assume logistics coordination, monitoring shipments, and taking all necessary steps to insure that they are received in a timely manner; coordinate ETA's with Engineering, Quality, and production.
Ensure delivery dates are met by suppliers according to shipment schedule.
Coordinate with Finance Department to make timely payments to all suppliers.
Maintain supplier/Product database
Update Quotations with updated costs where applicable
Generate Daily/Weekly reports with regards to shipment positions
Follow up suppliers for unanswered questions or response
Provide general administrative duties and support for the Purchasing department
Making sure engineering understand and have clear visibility over release dates
Making sure workshop and testing have clear visibility over build dates and testing needs
Keeping Project Management updated with status of projects

What You Need to Succeed

A Sound understanding of material control systems is preferable.
Good negotiating skills, combined with knowledge of procurement processes
Good communication / organizational skills, and be able to demonstrate an ability to understand complex regulations / procedures
You must be able to deal with a variety of tasks at any one time and understand the priorities.
