The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education.
ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level.
Research is organized in five main areas, 1) Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health; 2) Environment and health over the Lifecourse; 3) Global Viral and Bacterial infections; 4) Malaria and Neglected Parasitic Diseases; and 5) Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health. ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.Lugar:

What We Are Looking for:
ISGlobal is seeking a part-time Technical Staff who is interested in taking over and managing activities of the project "AMREDUCARE - Education on antimicrobial resistance for the health workforce".
The overall project goal is to continue developing the main working lines of the initiative: support on the conduction of participatory workshops with health workforce and general public, literature review, design of new tools and resources for communication purposes on the topic of AMR.
Desk analysis and literature review on the topic of AMREDUCARE - Patient communication and empowerment
Support on workshop implementation for health professionals and patients within the topic of communication skills for professionals
Support in outreach actions planned and outreach resources design
Participate in the writing of the reports and materials within the project and others activities related to it.
The tasks will be developed in the research laboratory at Centre Esther Koplowitz (CEK) and across Catalonia.

Key Responsibilities:
Training and experience /Qualifications:
- Previous experience in scientific communication
Training in Molecular Biology
Skills:
- Outstanding organizational and good teamworking skills.
- Responsible, flexible and with problem solving skills.
- Eager to learn, proactive and with great initiative
- Demonstrable adaptability and flexibility to adapt positively to change
- Previous experience in molecular microbiology and scientific communication
- Disposition to work outside of the office and travel across the region
Conditions:
- Duration:4 months
- Starting date:15th of august 202
- Contract: part time (10h / week)
- Salary Range: according to internal scales (Technician I D)
