Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Leads the development and execution of global brand strategy, content, and global tactics for the assigned brands within a Therapeutic Area in scope for Global management in order to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Contributes to disease management opportunities to be developed inhouse or in-licensed
  • Manages globally prioritized brands under her/his responsibility
  • Cooperation with local markets, intra-functional marketing teams and selected cross/functional (e.g. medical and regulatory) on regular basis
  • Gather global commercial input on pipeline& BD opportunities for brands/TA in scope
  • Develop Brand strategy Create vision, Strategy, Primary Messaging (including early stage dev), creative content, develop campaigns, global tactics
  • Translates scientific data/messages into promotional messages and campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Regional MKTG teams to localize brand priorities
  • Review/Comment on the annual forecasting (PnL) incl tactical plans

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Significant experience in pharma marketing experience for prescription medicines
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Business fluency in English; strong written and presentation skills.
  • Scientific/medical background is a plus
  • Experience working ex-Europe is a plus
  • Can lead an intra-functional marketing team (incl. digital, PR and regional marketing) with a broad variety of the above-mentioned tasks
  • Is a respected contributor and collaborator by regions/countries to have significant business impact on brands in focus. Entrepreneurial, proactive partnership
  • Sets an example for peers and intra-functional team members for achieving results with a focus on compliance
