from Mamem. I don't see it as a pub sound but the spirit of local music. Years ago I used to comment on the site of a guy who created the Dotmatrix Project., His name was Sean Coon - his project never scaled but it was a thing of genius, which brought together promotion and participation but with the principal goal being a love and nurturing of local music. My dear CityVP Manjit, I was living in England in Cambridge for two years, the late 80's, and my musical bases grew up there. I felt in love with the authenticity of a sound that has been with me these past years, the pub sound. A lot to say about it... and everything so really good!! Great memories!!! And the business has just a little to do with a guy and his guitar, o any other instrument. Thanks so much for being there!! Responder

They call some things the sound track of your life and when I was in England the punk movement for a while intersected my life journey and out of that emerged Elvis Costello - but to many people focus on movements still, rather than pay attention to the talent that utilized that movement to find their voice in the larger arena of life. The story I like most is that is agent wanted Declan to change his name to Presley Abbott, thankfully Declan decided he liked Elvis Costello far better. Which comes to my point about using real names - I focus 100% on real talent and that talent ends up being Sting, Lady Gaga, Eminem or Elvis Costello - at that point what is the deal with those people hung up on having real names. I know the hang up, they are conditioned by the social engineering of those online properties like Facebook who make this "really important" - yep, it is really important to their advertisers and the people who see all of us as nothing but data analyzable product and not people. I dig the music of Elvis Costello. My dear Mamen enjoy the show because I am sure that his music has flowed through the sound track of your life also. Responder
