As part of our team, you will be involved in the souring process for new projects ZF won from its customers or decided to outsource to the market.

Within your daily business your will be ZFs contact window to the supplier and responsible for negotiating the needed contracts and purchasing prices based on defined targets.

You will work in a young and motivated team split across the world.

Your Tasks:

Ensure reliable and competitive sourcing for assigned commodity including supplier nomination process
Prepare and conclude price negotiations with current and new suppliers
Achieve cost saving targets for the relevant suppliers, drive cost down initiatives in cooperation with VAVE Team
Actively support and contribute to Part Family Strategies (PFS)
Negotiation and conclusion of contracts with suppliers like terms & conditions, quality guidelines, logistic guidelines, consignment contracts
Preparation of decision templates and presentation in relevant committees

Your Profile:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering related major
At least 2 years of experience with a similar role in purchasing
Fluent oral and written English a must. German is a plus.
Selfmotivated and be able to multitask. Ability to prioritize and schedule daily tasks, manage time effectively
Good knowledge of MS office tools; knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Analytical thinking and willingness to travel
