About the role:


This role is responsible for leading the sales support team in South Europe to ensure the commercial team can provide a best-in-class service to our customers.

Sales support is an extension of the sales function; their primary purpose is to manage customer requests in relation to existing and potential opportunities on behalf of Sales teams, as well as increase capacity and productivity for the team by handling an effective pipeline management, data quality and best practices.


What will you be doing?:


  • Be the first point of contact for Sales Support in region for cross functional teams
  • Represent South Europe in European sales support function meetings
  • Manage and lead the sales support team across South Europe to ensure consistency and efficiencies across teams
  • Provide 'best in class service' to our customers by ensuring consistency of approach in dealing with their queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Increase capacity and productivity of frontline account owners to focus on selling
  • Adapt and develop ways of working with a view to enhancing the role and identifying further efficiencies and process improvements
  • Manage customer Forecast to demand planners: general interaction with Middle office teams including Customer care on behalf of Commercial
  • Support Account Managers on Opportunity creation & Updates
  • Act as the commercial link for NPI assistance and queries
  • Commercial reporting and data management, ensure integrity and accuracy
  • Tracking and follow up on requests
  • Provide Salesforce support and follow up on quotes, sample requests
  • Ensure Regional Pipeline hygiene and customer pipeline reporting tracking
  • Drive data accuracy and effective management; Review pricing SAP vs Quoted, update prices changes
  • Coordinate Regional Pipeline meetings
  • Manage new leads, Customer Management.
Create contacts and maintain information and follow ups


What do you need to be successful?:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Fluent Knowledge of English, plus at least one of the following (Spanish, French or Italian).
  • Previous experience as sales analyst, customer care or related field.
  • SAP and Salesforce experience are highly desired.
  • Food Manufacturing experience would be a nice to have.
  • Strong skill set in relationship building & effective communication.
  • Comfortable in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proven ability to work successfully on crossfunction teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills are a significant advantage.
  • Ability to plan and set priorities aligned to achieve results.
