What you'll do:


The Network Engineer Authority provides expert knowledge, planning, designing and optimising the network and driving effectiveness and efficiency through harmonisation and standardisation.

The Network Engineer Authority focusses on delivery of Network Engineering activities in response to business needs and in alignment with the Vodafone Strategy.

Typically reports to Senior Network Engineering Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Managing the entire lifecycle of systems in scope including coordination of design, development, testing, acceptance and implementation of SW and HW for those systems and effective Release and Capacity Management.
  • Efficient control and steer of internal and external suppliers, alignment of vendor's product roadmap with Vodafone's businesses & domain's strategy.
  • Identifies technical synergy potentials and derivation of recommendations for actions.
  • Independent and responsible execution of projects and relevant contribution to cross domain projects and programmes with multidiscipline and multinational character
  • Translates business demand into technical requirements and identification of the affected areas
  • Checks feasibility of demands with related to business needs

Who you are:


We are looking for the following experience:

  • Very good knowledge of OSS / BSS architecture and solutions
  • Long term experience in the engineering of Identity and Access Management (e.g., Sailpoint, Oracle), Remote vendor Access solutions (e.g., Citrix, ZTNA, MAVD) and security solutions to manage hardening and vulnerabilities in OSS (e.g., tripwire, SIEM, EDR, MFA, AV)
  • Very good knowledge of process & project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2)
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Goal and teamoriented working method within virtual teams, high level of empathy and cultural awareness to interface with multinational clients
  • Distinct conceptual and analytical thinking and working.
  • Very good command of English, both verbally and written
  • Good knowledge of Security & PUAM/IAM and Remote User access solutions.
