Role purpose:

As a Chip Development Hardware Manager, you will be required to deliver OPEN RAN Digital HW Platform Product & Strategy and all associated products for both the DU and the RU.
You will be required to possess good understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies and design solutions for O-RAN compliant chip development projects.
You will be required to develop hardware designs and implementation, referencing both proprietary and opensource hardware and software IP and ideate and develop leadingedge solutions with distinct value proposition that offer higher performance and power efficiencies and lower TCO that match or exceed current RAN incumbent OEMs.
You will be expected to lead the team of hardware engineers to perform development functions in an agile manner, documenting hardware designs and models based on industry standard development and modelling/design methodologies. You will be responsible for designing, driving, and developing scalable hardware solutions with heterogenous processing functions encompassing ASIC, FPGA, DSP, CPU/GPP hardware design technologies.
You will also contribute to the hardware and software development processes to ensure the developed hardware is consistent with the system engineering requirements and models. You will work with key business stakeholders to produce DU/RU hardware products as part of the overall system framework and system level design models.

What you bring:

5+ years of experience in 5G/4G RAN technologies and the underlying protocol stacks and mobile networks
5+ years of experience of hardware design and development encompassing heterogenous processing functions provisioned on ASIC, FPGA, DSP and CPU/GPP silicon devices, including successful lead of International Programmes in very complex environment.
Excellent knowledge of hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog, etc.), chip development processes and embedded real time development in Linux environment.
Experience in delivering RFI/RFP/RFQ management and evaluation.
Experience of working with an agile methodology and experience on Agile Lifecycle Management tools (Jira, etc.)
