      We expect experience in all or several of the following aspects:

      • Experience working on regulatory reporting and/or internal client reporting.
      • Knowledge of financial regulation, desirable in the field of solvency (CRR - Capital Requirements Regulation, Basel Framework, etc.)
      • Skills and sensitivity for quantitative analysis of information.
      • Advanced level proficiency in using office tools for report and presentation preparation.
      • High analytical and information exploitation capabilities, managing large volumes of data.
      • Advanced level of English.

      Positive valuations will include:

      • Experience working in collaborative teams from both Holding and Local units.
      • Knowledge of Group tools in data analytics (Pyspark, MicroStrategy...)
      • Experience in BCBS239, SOX controls, etc.

        • Overview

        About the area

        Within the Finance Holding unit, the Accounting & Regulatory Reporting - Solvency area is responsible for measuring, monitoring, and reporting the solvency metrics of the BBVA Group. These metrics are part of the Group's main financial indicators followed by the Group's management and are reported to both banking supervisors and regulators as well as shareholders and investors through the Prudential Relevance Report, in which the area actively participates.

        Similarly, the area collaborates in the Group's corporate operations by assessing the impacts in solvency terms. Specifically, from the function we are looking to fill, contributions are made to solvency indicators in measuring, consolidating, and analyzing the Group's risks from a prudential perspective known as risk-weighted assets.

        As a holding function, the unit is responsible for the governance and coordination of measuring risk-weighted assets with the main stakeholders of the process ranging from holding units such as Global Risk Management, Global Market Risk Unit to each of the subsidiaries of the Group where we operate.

        About the position

        In this position you will acquire:

        • A deep understanding of the Group's prudential risks, analyzing and understanding the main implications of the applicable rules and regulations in this field.
        • A global vision of the Group developing and enhancing communication skills, and governance with each of the relevant stakeholders, generating internal value for the Group in understanding its risks.

          • In particular, you will participate, among others, in the following responsibilities assigned to the area:

          • Implementation of the transition to the new regulatory framework CRR3 in all its aspects: knowledge dissemination, ensuring compliance, transforming the different reports, etc. It represents one of the main challenges of the area in the coming months.
          • Continuous updating of regulatory news and business evolution.
          • Monitoring of subsidiaries through continuous contact with different local authorities.
          • Critical analysis of the evolution of consolidated figures and redefinition of internal reports on which area responsible and supervisors rely to perform this analysis.
          • Support and management of area needs related to Internal Control, SOX, and compliance with BCBS239 principles
