Senior-Junior R3 Researcher within the LUPUS Unit

JOB DESCRIPTION

Education and qualifications:


Required:
-

Bachelor's Degree or Grade in Biosciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedicine, Biochemist, etc.)

  • PhD related with Sciences.
  • Fluency in Catalan and Spanish.

Desired:
-

Skills in genomics and transcriptomics (qRT-PCR, RNA-seq, miRNAs).

  • English language level B
  • Training course in Laboratory Animal Science.
  • Experience in exosomes and/or small extracellular vesicle.
  • Experience in 2D and 3D cell culture, preferred in keratinocytes / fibroblast / lymphocyte cells culture.
  • Experience in chemistry synthesis.
  • Hardworking and good communication skills

Experience and knowledge:


Required:
-

At least 5 years of experience working in Lupus research.

  • High impact factor publications in Systemic Lupus Research (at least 5 manuscript as corresponding
author).

  • Experience in coordination of master and PhD students.
  • Ability to teamwork as well as independence abilities.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary team (basic of medicine).

Desired:
-

Experience to be Principal Investigator of competitive projects.

  • Knowledge of autoimmune disease and rheumatologic disease.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial

Main responsibilities and duties:
-

Manage and coordinate research projects of Lupus Unit.

  • Give support in clinical trials.
  • Prepare/Organize meeting to explain lupus research.
