Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Group
for a position as a Graduated Laboratory Technician to support translational and clinical research on the field of
of the adaptive immune system, and will be involved in the clinical trials carried out at the Parkinson's and Movement
Disorders Unit of the Neurology Department at Vall d' Hebron University Hospital

JOB DESCRIPTION

Education and qualifications:


Required:

University Degree in Health/Life Sciences or FPII Technician

Previous experience in basic research techniques (Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, PCR), flow cytometry

and other techniques frequently used in immunology.

Basic computer skills

Organized and methodical person with high motivation and initiative.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.


Desired:

Previous experience handling and processing human samples

Previous experience with neurodegenerative diseases or autoimmune diseases

Animal experimentation certification

Training in clinical Trials methodology (e-CRF, AE, SUSARs) and in Good Clinical Practice.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Support as a laboratory technician the different experiments carried out with human samples, animal models or

cell cultures.

Data management and Data enter.

Coordinate the clinical trials, in Parkinson's disease.

Assist the research team in the tasks necessary for the development of studies (daily summary of patient reporting

SAEs, preparation of TCs, document management)

Strengthen the bridge between Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Unit and the research laboratory.


Labour conditions:

Full-time position: 40h/week.


  • Starting date: immediate
  • Gross annual salary: 18.589,05 a 23.358,00 Euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills)
