    What we need:

    As a Lead Environment Artist at 31st Union, your passion, knowledge, and experience are essential for growing a team of talented artists and defining the look of player-driven experiences. Your expertise will bring immersive landscapes, architecture, props, and natural environments to life.

    Responsibilities:

    • Be a high-level individual contributor focused on production and processes.
    • Work with Art Directors and Leads to ensure the team understands the artistic vision.
    • Collaborate with Design and Narrative leads to create stunning environments.
    • Communicate clearly and regularly with leads and production to align team efforts.
    • Participate in scoping and creative vision discussions advocating for the team's needs.
    • Establish asset authoring best practices in collaboration with Engineering and Tech Art.
    • Create and maintain modular asset pipelines for world and architecture kits.
    • Provide feedback on development schedules and supervise the Art Environment Team's activities.
    • Create and manage asset lists in coordination with internal partner teams.
    • Review assets from internal and external partners and mentor the environment team.

    Who you are:

    You are an experienced Environment Artist with expertise in AAA games and attention to detail. Proficient in Substance Designer and Substance Painter, you lead a team of artists, embracing next-gen tools for efficiency. Your strong communication and collaboration skills drive shared visions across disciplines, inspiring growth and excellence. Skilled in tools such as UE5, ZBrush, and more, you thrive on teamwork and creation.
