After achieving a +200% organic revenue growth (no marketing, no external investment/grants) over the last 2 years, Bold is currently preparing for an unprecedented growth stage and is looking to fill several key positions within the company to execute the business plan.

About the Role

The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for driving and developing all activities related to the procurement of components for our battery and electrification technologies, with a focus on plastic and metallic components.

What You Will Do

Develop Supplier Sourcing Strategies, Market Research, Investigation & Nomination
Detailed Cost Analysis, Commercial Negotiation and Proposals
Cradle to Grave Supplier Relationship Management
Commercial and Contractual support to Project Teams/Engineers
Project, Budget, Cost Progress and Reporting
Business Planning of Procurement objectives and activities
Improve/Streamline the Procurement Processes
Contract and Order Placement including authorising Payment to suppliers
Create and manage the RFI/RFP/RFQ process.
Contract Preparation and deployment.
Supplier Gateway Readiness checks, confirmation and reporting.
Cross Functional cost reduction activity
Support the creation and management of Supplier Risk and reporting.
Life Cycle Cost Management for a range of commodities.
Supplier concern resolution

What You Need to Succeed

Well rounded technical knowledge of manufacturing processes involved in the production of plastic and metallic components.
Previous Battery technology experience with a wide range of commercial and commodity groups of both low and high value (Direct and Indirect).
Commercial acumen and negotiation prowess. Understanding how to strengthen and add value to supplier proposals.
Experience in establishing or streamlining procurement processes and procedures.
Experience in operating MRP/ERP systems.
Solid understanding of procurement procedures. Ability to promote best practice purchasing techniques.
Excellent stakeholder management skills. Approachable and can be relied upon as a trusted advisor.
Proven commercial success / strong negotiator.
Excellent presentation skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders up to Executive level, both internally and externally.

Great communication skills

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships of trust and credibility with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Execution: ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure

Desirable Skills and Experience

Enthusiasm in sharing expertise and experience with the Team
Vast knowledge of materials and components used in high performance battery technologies.
