    If you work with Summit Law there will be no hidden costs or expenses beyond the fee sharing arrangement. As to the latter and as part and parcel of our transparency values we offer a 70:30 split: –

    • Full SRA compliance support
    • You will enjoy a relaxed ambiance #WFH or in our modern Holborn offices in the heart of legal London
    • Complete billing and legal library support
    • Scanning services
    • IT support
    • Digital marketing support
    • General back-office know how support

    Background

    Summit Law has long-established relationships with a range of intermediaries, referrers and repeat clients.

    Our team advises high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and SME's. Traditionally Summit Law has been renowned for its restructuring and insolvency law know-how and now wishes to expand by making lateral hires. The latter includes an employment lawyer partner who joins the firm soon. There are also other recent additions to our legal team with niche expertise and specialisations.

    Summit Law is conveniently placed to offer a fast and efficient service to a home grown and international client base. We have connections in the Middle and Far East, Spain, and South America which we are keen to develop.

    One of our partners also sits as a board member on ILAS, the International Lawyers and Accountancy Solutions network who meet twice yearly in Europe to discuss growing trends and developments in legal and accountancy matters.

    About You

    We are looking for lawyers who are:-

    • UK based
    • 6+ years PQE
    • Have some following.

    We are very much looking for team players with a strong client focussed approach so cultural fit is key to Summit Law's philosophy. Accordingly, what is paramount is that you enjoy working with colleagues who are like-minded and where you enjoy the friendly, collegiate, and supportive environment whether working from home or in Holborn.

    We are looking for consultants that are entrepreneurial who value being good lawyers as well as having excellent communication and organisational skills. Whilst we also rate common sense highly, we need consultant lawyers who are hands-on and able to work autonomously with no supervision.

    The Opportunity

    We are seeking like-minded professionals who not only want to advance their career but also want the benefits of being self-employed without running a business to join our dynamic law practice as a Consultant Solicitor on a fee share basis. You will not have the responsibility of managing a team but you will enjoy the benefits of working as part of a thriving team. You will have the option of home working or in the office as and when you wish. You will decide when you start-and-finish your work each day and experience a pressure-free work-life balance.

    About the Firm

    Summit Law is a Law Society Lexcel accredited law firm formed by Jeremy Boyle over 16 years ago with a view to providing specialist contentious insolvency advice. Since then we have carefully earmarked and grown other areas of practice which complement the insolvency related work for which we are recognised.

    We have a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice rooted in our belief that clients are our major asset and client care is paramount. Our global reach via ILAS and cross-border 'know how' ensures that we are well-placed to assist with matters in Europe and further afield alike.

    Our offices are modern and in close proximity to the Royal Courts of Justice and most barrister's chambers.

    We champion change and promote progress to make business work better for people. Summit Law has embedded a range of team initiatives to create an environment in which our team can flourish. We operate an agile working scheme, which offers our team flexibility in terms of where, and how, they work. The latter is supported by our Cloud-based IT system which means you can work on your smart phone or tablet, from anywhere in the world utilising our Cloud based technology and Microsoft 365.
